Flexible in Use
The personal protection switch is used especially often in mobile applications (e.g., on construction sites for work lights and tools), as well as stationary in private households (e.g., for powerful electrical appliances such as pumps). The quick and easy installation of a PRCD makes it a widely used solution.
Protecting Several Devices Stationarily
In stationary use, our on-board power distributor has proven itself. It meets all relevant safety regulations for use in commercial environments and, with its three protective contact sockets, enables the operation and protection of several consumers at the same time.
Answers to Common Questions
Can I also use a protection adapter in a fixed installation?
Yes, you can also install the protection adapter long-term. However, for stationary use we recommend our on-board power distributor, since with this you can operate and protect several devices in parallel.
Can I also use the personal protection switch outdoors?
Our personal protection switch has a splash-proof housing (IP44), so outdoor use is no problem.
Do I still need a personal protection plug with modern devices?
Of course, especially new devices have safety functions. However, under certain conditions or malfunctions, fault currents can still occur. Especially in outdoor use and for example in rainy weather, an accidentally damaged cable can pose a considerable danger to users and bystanders.
